The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-rankedGalati 's (0-12) road loss to thirteenth ranked Ploiesti CSM (4-7) 96-105 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Galati won third quarter 31-30 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ploiesti CSM shot 60.7 percent from the field and made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Ploiesti CSM especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. The winners were led by Codrut-Alexander Dinu who scored that evening 23 points and 8 rebounds and American DeVante Brooks (198, college: S.Arkansas, agency: Players Group) supported him with 17 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Ploiesti CSM's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by American guard Marcus Randolph (196-2003, college: St.Peter's) did not help to save the game for Galati . Serbian point guard Mihailo Jovicic (190-1999, agency: BIG) added 18 points and 4 assists. Five Ploiesti CSM and four Galati players scored in double figures. Ploiesti CSM moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Sibiu. Loser Galati still closes the standings with 12 games lost. They share the position with Targu Jiu.
