Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Targoviste forced 20 Targu Mures CSU turnovers. Ioan Rizescu (-2007) notched 28 points to lead the effort and Radu Dumitru (193-2004) supported him with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Four Targoviste players scored in double figures. Forward Robert Trif (-2006) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts.
