There was no surprise whenBrasov 2 (4-7) was outplayed on the road by Ploiesti CSM 2 (8-2) 91-68 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ploiesti CSM 2. Brasov 2 managed to win fourth quarter 26-18 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ploiesti CSM 2 had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Brasov 2 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ploiesti CSM 2 made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was guard Andrei-Sebastian Ciulin (185-2008) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. Guard Vlad-Alexandru Borcan (188-2009) chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Matei Sorodoc (198-2007) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and guard Tudor Jurca (195-2007) added 17 points respectively. Four Brasov 2 players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
