Very expected game when 13th rankedPloiesti CSM (6-12) was rolled over at home by eighth ranked Valcea (10-7) 94-69 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Valcea. Ploiesti CSM managed to win second period 26-23 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Ploiesti CSM 39-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. Valcea looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Ploiesti CSM 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DeAndre Pinckney (203-2000, college: Southern Miss) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and Belgian point guard Emmanuel Lecomte (180-1995, college: Baylor, agency: Players Group) who added 14 points and 9 assists during the contest. American DeVante Brooks (198, college: S.Arkansas, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Codrut-Alexander Dinu (187-2007) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valcea moved-up to seventh place. Ploiesti CSM lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 12 games lost.
