Bottom-rankedGalati (0-18) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 99-77 loss to eleventh ranked Rapid (9-10) in Galati. Rapid moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Sibiu. Galati at the other side still closes the standings with 18 games lost.
