Rather predictable result when eleventh rankedSibiu (10-10) rolled over at home 13th ranked Ploiesti CSM (6-13) 110-76 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Sibiu. Ploiesti CSM managed to win fourth quarter 27-24 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sibiu looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American forward Keith Stone (206-1997, college: Miami, FL) nailed 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Andreas Blidaru (183-2006, agency: BIG) accounted for 14 points and 6 assists. Five Sibiu players scored in double figures. Serbian center Veljko Brkic (206-1995) came up with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Puerto Rican guard Jase Febres (196-1999, college: Texas) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Ploiesti CSM in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sibiu moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Targu Mures and Rapid. Ploiesti CSM lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost.
