We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams whenBrasov CSU (1-0) was outplayed at home by top-ranked Rising Stars (6-0) 82-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Rising Stars led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rising Stars outrebounded Brasov CSU 51-37 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Stefan Ciurea (-2008) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Mihai Oprea (186-2008) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Vlad Georgescu (-2000) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Justin Cristea (-2007) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rising Stars have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Rising Stars maintains first position with 6-0 record. Brasov CSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth place with 0 game lost.
