Not a big story in a game when 4th rankedSibiu 2 (7-8) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Ploiesti CSM 2 (10-2) 102-77 on Sunday. The game without a history. Ploiesti CSM 2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Ploiesti CSM 2 outrebounded Sibiu 2 40-23 including 17 on the offensive glass. Ploiesti CSM 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Georgian Mihalache (-2006) who scored 24 points and 6 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Rares Movileanu (193-2007) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Ploiesti CSM 2's coach Loredana Ion felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Filip Itu (-2008) who recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds and Andrei Schipor (-2008) added 12 points respectively. Five Sibiu 2 players scored in double figures. Ploiesti CSM 2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record having seven points less than leader Rising Stars. Loser Sibiu 2 dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost.
