Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bucuresti:Agronomia (#2) and CSU ASE (#5). CSU ASE was defeated at home 85-93 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It looked good early as CSU ASE took a 13-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Agronomia took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 8 points. They made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Guard David Fometescu (182-2008) nailed 14 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and Robert Spoitoru (-2005) accounted for 22 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Mihnea Ilie (197-2006, agency: One Motive Sports) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and guard Fabrizio Neagu (190-2006) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for CSU ASE in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Agronomia (13-3) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place having six points less than leader Rising Stars. CSU ASE at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
