Rather expected game when 7th rankedTargu Mures CSU (7-12) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Leii (12-6) 70-51 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Leii. Targu Mures CSU managed to win second period 23-18 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Daniel Makasa who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Cristian Ionescu (-2008) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Zsolt Szekely (-2008, agency: One Motive Sports) who recorded 13 points and 6 rebounds and Zsombor Kovacs (-2008) added 10 points respectively. Five Leii and four Targu Mures CSU players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leii maintains fifth place with 12-6 record. Targu Mures CSU lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the third position with 12 games lost. They share it with Ploiesti CSU.
