There was a small surprise when seventh rankedTargu Mures CSU (8-12) smashed at home 4th ranked CSU ASE (12-6) 101-79 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Targu Mures CSU looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Targu Mures CSU made 8 blocks. Zsolt Szekely (-2008, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and forward Robert Trif (-2006) chipped in 18 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Matei-Alexandru Rosu (197-2007) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and guard Dragos Parau (179-2006, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Targu Mures CSU and four CSU ASE players scored in double figures.
