An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Popesti-Leordeni. Top-rankedRising Stars faced 3rd ranked Ploiesti CSU . Host Rising Stars (9-0) smashed guests from Ploiesti (7-13) 101-60 . The game without a history. Rising Stars led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Rising Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Ploiesti CSU 's players. Vlad Stanculescu (-2008) scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Stefan Ciurea (-2008) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists during the contest. Four Rising Stars players scored in double figures. At the losing side Cristian Remes (-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ionut Neagu (-2002) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Ploiesti CSU's coach Ioan Hartman gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Rising Stars have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Newly promoted Rising Stars maintains first position with 9-0 record. Loser Ploiesti CSU keeps the third place with 13 games lost.
