Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedSibiu 2 (10-10) defeated at home 7th ranked Brasov 2 (5-13) 81-72 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 9 points. Sibiu 2 made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Gabriel Radu (184-2007) who led the winners and scored 22 points. point guard Radu Popa (169-2008) accounted for 15 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Sibiu 2's coach Catalin Vulc used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Adam Both (-2005) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alexandru Blaga (190-2007) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Brasov 2 in the defeat. Sibiu 2 maintains fifth place with 10-10 record. Newly promoted Brasov 2 keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
