Rather expected game when 8th rankedPolitehnica Iasi (4-16) was smashed at home by fifth ranked CSU ASE (13-8) 98-50 on Friday. The game without a history. CSU ASE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Politehnica Iasi 's 34. They outrebounded Politehnica Iasi 62-39 including a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. CSU ASE looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Politehnica Iasi 's players. The winners were led by forward Mihnea Ilie (197-2006, agency: One Motive Sports) who scored that evening 8 points and 16 rebounds and forward Tudor Stoica (198-2006) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Even 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Stefan Paduraru (-2005) did not help to save the game for Politehnica Iasi . Forward Ruben Fadur (200-2007) added 8 points and 13 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSU ASE maintains fifth position with 13-8 record. Politehnica Iasi lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 16 games lost.
