Very expected game when 10th rankedSteaua (13-15) lost on the road to third ranked Voluntari (20-8) 89-76 . The game was mostly controlled by Voluntari. Steaua was better in second period 24-16 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Voluntari made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. American forward Lee Skinner (198-1992, college: Wofford) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Hungarian point guard Laszlo Polyak (191-1993) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Voluntari players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Dame Adelekun (203-2001, college: Loyola, IL) with 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import point guard Kenny Dye (183-2000, college: Queens, NC) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Voluntari moved-up to second place, which they share with Dinamo. Steaua at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost.
