The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd placedSibiu 2 's (11-11) home loss to second ranked Ploiesti CSM 2 (16-4) 73-81 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 48-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Georgian Mihalache (-2006) nailed 4 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and guard Federico Diaconescu (185-2008) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Ploiesti CSM 2 players scored in double figures. Center Raul Mitrache (200-2007, agency: One Motive Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Gabriel Radu (184-2007) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sibiu 2 in the defeat. Sibiu 2's coach Catalin Vulc let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ploiesti CSM 2 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 16-4 record having just two point less than leader Rapid 2. Loser Sibiu 2 dropped to the fourth position with 11 games lost.
