No shocking result in a game when second rankedRising Stars (11-1) beat 6th ranked Brasov CSU (14-6) in Popesti-Leordeni 67-58 on Sunday. Zuka Isah (-2008) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and Stefan Ciurea (-2008) accounted for 14 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Rising Stars' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Victor Georgescu (186-2002) came up with a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists and Vlad Georgescu (-2000) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Brasov CSU in the defeat. Four Brasov CSU players scored in double figures. Rising Stars maintains second place with 11-1 record having eleven points less than leader Rapid 2. Loser Brasov CSU still keeps top position with six games lost.
