No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Universitet-Yugra (22-12) beat 13th ranked Zenit-Farm (4-30) in Saint Petersburg 88-77 on Tuesday. The winners were led by Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: BeoExcell) who scored that evening 27 points and 5 rebounds and center Daniil Solovev (212-87) supported him with 15 points. Four Universitet-Yugra players scored in double figures. Even 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) did not help to save the game for Zenit-Farm. The former international center Andrey Desiatnikov (221-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Universitet-Yugra moved-up to fourth place. Zenit-Farm lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 30 games lost. Universitet-Yugra will meet Spartak St.Petersburg (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zenit-Farm will have a break next round.
