A very close game took place in Sabac (derby !!!) betweenDuga and Spartak . Duga got a very close home victory over Spartak . Duga managed to escape with a 3-point win 70-67 on Sunday evening. Duga forced 25 Spartak turnovers. Rwandan-American guard Janai Crooms (178-1999, college: Providence) fired 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Destiny Coleman (185-2001, college: Claflin) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Crooms is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Duga's coach Vuk Stepanovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Camree Clegg (165-2000, college: St.Louis) produced 13 points and 7 assists and the other American import swingman Alexis Tucker (180-2001, college: FSU) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Spartak players scored in double figures. Duga will meet Kraljevo on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Spartak will play against Ras and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
