An exciting game was played in Kranj. Second rankedTriglav faced one of their biggest challengers Maribor . Host Triglav (4-2) smashed guests from Maribor (3-2) 75-54 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maribor. They outrebounded Maribor 40-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Triglav players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Maribor 's players. Forward Manca Vrecer (178-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ana Saric (185-2000) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Triglav's coach Robert Matevzic felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Aneja Stojko (167-2003) replied with 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American forward Nylah Young (180-2001, college: William & Mary, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Maribor. Triglav maintains second position with 4-2 record having four points less than leader Celje. Maribor at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost.
