There was a small surprise whenTurk Telekom (1-2) beat on the road Yalova (0-2) 86-71 on Sunday. Turk Telekom forced 21 Yalova turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Turk Telekom made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was Efe Can (-2006) who scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Forward Atakan Bicer (209-2005) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Evren Demirci (203-2005) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks and Alper Acar (-2006) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
