The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedErokspor (8-4) in Istanbul on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Konya BBSK (7-5) 85-80 . Konya BBSK looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Khalid Thomas (208-1999, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Ogulcan Baykan (196-1996) who added 20 points during the contest. Five Konya BBSK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Jeremy Simmons (204-1989, college: Charleston) with 26 points and his fellow American import point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) scored 9 points and 4 assists. Erokspor's coach Ilker Salman rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Konya BBSK have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Trabzonspor. Erokspor at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost.
