Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth rankedUrla and 8th ranked Emlak 2 had identical 6-6 record. But Emlak 2 was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Izmir 78-65 on Friday night. Urla forced 22 Emlak 2 turnovers. American guard Keiunna Walker (168-2000, college: La Tech) nailed a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Eda Sahin (169-1999) accounted for 10 points and 6 assists. Point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) came up with 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and forward Feray Laic (185-2005) added 9 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Emlak 2 in the defeat. Emlak 2's coach Anil Aydin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Urla (7-6) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Fenerbahce G. and Mersin Secil. Loser Emlak 2 dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Burhaniye.
