Not a big story in a game in Ankara where 16th rankedGallardo (1-13) was defeated by tenth ranked Emlak 2 (7-7) 63-50 on Saturday. Emlak 2 held Gallardo to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 29.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Emlak 2 forced 22 Gallardo turnovers and outrebounded them 54-38 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) who scored 13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Feray Laic (185-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. American center Jazmin Harris (190, college: NC A&T) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Simay Oget (165-2001) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Emlak 2 moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Urla and Mersin Secil. Gallardo lost fifth consecutive game.
