There was a surprise result in Bursa where seventeenth rankedGaziantep (6-10) beat higher ranked Final Spor (8-8) 91-81 on Sunday. Gaziantep outrebounded Final Spor 40-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. Gaziantep looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Final Spor 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 16 assists and swingman Kaan Sariaslan (192-1997) who added 25 points and 7 assists during the contest. Gaziantep's coach Ali Yildirim used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American guard Tyrece Radford (188-1999, college: Texas A&M) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Erdem Ilter (186-1990, agency: BIG) scored 23 points and 6 assists. Four Final Spor players scored in double figures. Gaziantep moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Balikesir BBS and Kapakli Spor. Loser Final Spor dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Fenerbahce 2.
