Very expected game in Istanbul where 11th rankedOrmanspor (3-10) was rolled over by second ranked Galatasaray (11-2) 80-58 . Galatasaray had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for American-Azerbaijani forward Brianna Fraser (190-1997, college: Maryland) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Belgian point guard Julie Vanloo (173-1993) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Galatasaray's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international Manolya Kurtulmus (187-1998) answered with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Australian forward Zitina Aokuso (194-1998) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ormanspor. Galatasaray maintains second place with 11-2 record behind leader Fenerbahce. Ormanspor at the other side dropped to the bottom position with ten games lost. They share it with Bodrum.
