The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul:Besiktas (#5) and Efes (#3). Efes was crushed at home by 17 points 70-87 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Efes. Worth to mention a great performance of American Kelan Martin (201-1995, college: Butler) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Dustin Sleva (203-1995, college: Shippensburg) contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. American center Daniel Oturu (208-1999, college: Minnesota) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and French center Vincent Poirier (213-1993) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Anadolu Efes. Efes' coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Besiktas maintains fifth place with 9-4 record. Anadolu Efes at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Tofas and Galatasaray.
