TBL top team -Erokspor (16-4) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Ormanspor (8-12) in Istanbul 97-86 . Erokspor made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. American point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Tayfun Erulku (192-1994) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward William McNair Jr (211-2000, college: Kansas St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Gokturk Ural (196-1995) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Ormanspor. Four Erokspor and five Ormanspor players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erokspor have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-4 record. Ormanspor at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Gaziantep and Cedi Osman.
