There was an upset in Istanbul where 4th placedAnkaragucu (13-7) was edged by tenth ranked Haremspor (10-11) 86-83 on Friday. Haremspor made 31-of-38 free shots (81.6 percent) during the game, while Ankaragucu only scored fifteen points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was point guard Sedat Karagulle (190-1999) who scored 33 points (!!!). Center Cihat Dalgali (205-2001) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Hakan Yapar (202-1984) who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and American forward CJ Elleby (198-2000, college: WSU) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Ankaragucu's coach Hakan Koktas tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Haremspor maintains tenth place with 10-11 record, which they share with Fenerbahce 2. Loser Ankaragucu keeps the fourth position with seven games lost.
