There was an upset when higher rankedPetkimspor (7-9) was smashed by fourteenth ranked Darussafaka Lassa (5-11) in Istanbul 83-64 on Saturday. The winners were led by American forward Tres Tinkle (203-1996, college: Oregon St., agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 22 points and 6 rebounds and American-South Sudanese forward Both Gach (201-1999, college: Utah) supported him with 16 points. Even 16 points and 6 assists by American Wesley Van Beck (193-1996, college: Houston) did not help to save the game for Petkim . Colombian center Jaime Echenique (211-1997, college: Wichita St.) added 14 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Four Petkim players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Darussafaka Lassa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Buyukcekmece. Loser Petkimspor keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with Turk Telekom and Bursaspor.
