The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedErokspor (16-5) in Istanbul on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fifteenth ranked Gaziantep (9-12) 84-76 . It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Erokspor. Gaziantep looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and Nigerian-American power forward OD Anosike (203-1991, college: Siena) chipped in 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) with 15 points and 6 assists and the other American import center Jeremy Simmons (204-1989, college: Charleston) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gaziantep have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Erokspor at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost.
