TBL top team -Erokspor (21-5) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat seventeenth ranked Kapakli Spor (8-18) in Istanbul 84-66 . Erokspor forced 19 Kapakli Spor turnovers. Strangely Kapakli Spor outrebounded Erokspor 46-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kapakli Spor 's players. Center Metehan Akyel (206-1996) notched 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Mustafa Gorur (204-1988) supported him with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Erokspor players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds by Bahadir Simsek (205-1998) did not help to save the game for Kapakli Spor . Belarusian forward Dzmitry Ryuny (206-2000, college: Oregon St.) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Erokspor have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-5 record. Loser Kapakli Spor keeps the seventeenth place with 18 games lost.
