Bottom-rankedGallardo managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Gallardo outleveled thirteenth-ranked Bursa U. 100-78 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 22-point difference proves that Gallardo was well-prepared to that game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for American forward Asia Strong (188-2000, college: Syracuse) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Oyku Taskin (172-2000) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Strong is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Gallardo players scored in double figures. Nursima Uzumcu (-2001) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Essence Booker (173-1999, college: UNLV) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bursa U.Bursa U.'s coach Rebii Guney gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Gallardo maintains sixteenth position with 4-20 record. Bursa U. lost third consecutive game. Bursa U. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Cankaya.
