Everything went according to plan in Istanbul where third rankedEfes (17-6) beat 8th ranked Turk Telekom (10-13) 100-90 on Monday. Anadolu Efes dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Turk Telekom 's 38. They outrebounded Turk Telekom 39-21 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Anadolu Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American Jordan Nwora (203-1998, college: Louisville) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. American center Daniel Oturu (208-1999, college: Minnesota) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. American Anthony Brown (199-1992, college: Stanford) produced 27 points and 5 assists and Canadian center Kyle Alexander (208-1996, college: Tennessee) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Anadolu Efes maintains third place with 17-6 record having five points less than leader Fenerbahce. Loser Turk Telekom keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Bursaspor and Buyukcekmece.
