There was a surprise result in Istanbul where thirteenth rankedPetkimspor (10-17) defeated higher ranked Galatasaray (14-13) 86-81 on Sunday. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for Wesley Van Beck (193-1996, college: Houston) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 4 assists. Swingman Damyean Dotson (196-1994, college: Houston) helped adding 20 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Will Cummings (188-1992, college: Temple) with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and James Palmer Jr (198-1996, college: Nebraska) scored 19 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Galatasaray's coach Yakup Sekizkok rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Petkim moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Galatasaray keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost.
