There was a surprise result in Istanbul where tenth rankedTurk Telekom (13-17) won against second-best Besiktas (23-7) 93-75 on Friday. Turk Telekom made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Canadian center Kyle Alexander (208-1996, college: Tennessee) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Colombian swingman Braian Angola-Rodas (198-1994, college: FSU) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Dustin Sleva (203-1995, college: Shippensburg) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and international swingman Yigit Arslan (198-1996) scored 13 points. Five Turk Telekom and four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bursaspor and Buyukcekmece. Besiktas at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Anadolu Efes.
