There was no surprise in Kocaeli whereDarussafaka Lassa was crushed by Cayirova 89-58 on Friday. Cayirova made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Darussafaka turnovers. Cayirova looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international Berkay Candan (205-1993) stepped up and scored 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and American guard Roberto Gallinat (193-1996, college: Pacific, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Cayirova players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian power forward Aleksandar Zecevic (207-1996, college: FAU) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Eray Aydogan (185-2000) scored 12 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
