A very close game took place in Istanbul betweenGalatasaray and Tofas . Galatasaray got a very close home victory over Tofas . Galatasaray managed to escape with a 2-point win 93-91 in the fight for the fifth place. The best player for the winners was American James Palmer Jr (198-1996, college: Nebraska) who scored 27 points and 4 assists. The other American import point guard Will Cummings (188-1992, college: Temple) chipped in 18 points. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Marek Blazevic (209-2001) produced 25 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and international Yigitcan Saybir (203-1999) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
