Turk Telekom 's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they outplayed much higher ranked Petkimspor (1-3) 85-61 . Turk Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Petkimspor 's 16. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Croatian point guard Jaleen Smith (190-1994, college: UNH) who added 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Nigerian-American guard David Efianayi (188-1995, college: Gardner-Webb) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and Dutch swingman Yannick Franke (196-1996) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Petkimspor . It was Petkim 's third loss in a row.
