The most surprising game was a loss ofMersin (1-1) in Adana on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Botas (2-1) 83-67 . It was a great evening for naturalized German forward Tuba Poyraz (182-2001, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Finnish guard Sara Bejedi (170-2000, college: FSU) helped adding 17 points. Five Botas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian forward Laura Juskaite (187-1997) with 26 points and 6 rebounds and German center Luisa Geiselsoeder (192-2000) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
