There was an upset in Izmir where 4th placedGoztepe (5-2) was defeated by ninth ranked Darussafaka Lassa (4-3) 77-73 on Saturday. Darussafaka looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American guard JCovan Brown (190-1990, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian power forward Aleksandar Zecevic (207-1996, college: FAU) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard Jordan Barnes (178-1997, college: Indiana St.) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Goztepe players scored in double figures. Goztepe's coach Ahmet Demirci rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Darussafaka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Goztepe keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Ormanspor.
