Not a big story in a game in Istanbul where 14th rankedPinar Karsiyaka (1-4) was rolled over by sixth ranked Galatasaray (3-2) 103-83 on Sunday. Galatasaray dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Pinar Karsiyaka 's 36. Galatasaray forced 19 Karsiyaka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American James Palmer Jr. (198-1996, college: Nebraska) who scored 25 points. His fellow American import point guard Will Cummings (188-1992, college: Temple) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. The former international Tarik Biberovic (201-2001) produced 26 points and the former international center Samet Geyik (205-1993) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Galatasaray moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tofas. Karsiyaka lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Turk Telekom.
