There was no surprise in Istanbul where 11th rankedCedi Osman (2-5) was defeated by third ranked Gaziantep (6-1) 81-76 on Monday. It was a great evening for Croatian Zeljko Sakic (204-1988) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds. Bosnian Rijad Avdic (201-1998) helped adding 22 points. At the losing side American guard Troy Franklin (183-1989, college: Coppin St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 assists and Kemal Aktuna (191-1995, agency: BIG) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Four Cedi Osman players scored in double figures. Cedi Osman's coach Abdulkadir Serdar tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Gaziantep . They maintain third place with 6-1 record behind leader Cayirova. Loser Cedi Osman keeps the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
