Important game to mention about took place in Adana. Fifth rankedEmlak (3-1) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Botas (2-3) 78-76 on Sunday evening. American-Cameroonian guard Jessica Thomas (168-1994, college: Miami, FL) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 assists for the winners and Nigerian-American power forward Victoria Macaulay (193-1990, college: Temple) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Marquesha Davis (183-2001, college: Ole Miss) responded with 21 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Finnish guard Sara Bejedi (170-2000, college: FSU) scored 12 points and 9 assists. Four Botas players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Emlak . They moved-up to third place, which they share with Nesibe. Botas at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Kayseri.
