There was no surprise in Izmit where 11th rankedKocaeli (4-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Ormanspor (7-5) 74-67 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized German guard Kerem Ozel (183-1997) who added 12 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-1994, college: Augusta) with 17 points and 6 assists and Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ormanspor moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kahramanmaras. Kocaeli lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost.
