The biggest surprise took place in Gaziantep where hostGaziantep (9-2) crushed league's leader Cayirova (10-2) 95-73 on Sunday evening. Gaziantep made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Nemanja Nenadic (197-1994) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Emir Sivas chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. Five Gaziantep players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Roberto Gallinat (193-1996, college: Pacific, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 16 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international Berkay Candan (205-1993) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gaziantep have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-2 record. Cayirova at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Goztepe who have the same record.
