There was a minor upset in Istanbul where higher rankedAnkaragucu (3-8) was defeated by eighteenth ranked iLab (3-8) 79-71 on Tuesday. iLab made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American center OD Anosike (203-1991, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Ali Efe Baris who added 19 points during the contest. Four iLab players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Brian Cameron (190-1997, college: Wesley) with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (200-1995) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. iLab moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Ankaragucu .
