There was an upset when higher rankedOrmanspor (7-6) was edged at home by fourteenth ranked TED Ankara (4-8) 96-93 on Sunday. TED Ankara looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Tayfun Erulku nailed 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) accounted for 13 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks. Swingman Kaan Sariaslan (192-1997) came up with 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points and 10 assists respectively for Ormanspor in the defeat. Five TED Ankara and four Ormanspor players scored in double figures. TED Ankara moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Kocaeli and Balikesir BBS. Loser Ormanspor keeps the seventh position with six games lost.
