Rather expected game when 9th rankedErokspor (4-6) lost to sixth ranked Turk Telekom (6-4) in Istanbul 61-67 on Sunday. Turk Telekom made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Turk Telekom outrebounded Erokspor 40-27 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) notched 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and American Jordan Usher (201-1998, college: Georgia Tech) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by the former international Egehan Arna (202-1997) did not help to save the game for Erokspor . French power forward Petr Cornelie (211-1995) added 10 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four Erokspor players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Anadolu Efes and Galatasaray. Erokspor lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
