An interesting game took place in Istanbul where 7th rankedKahramanmaras (7-7) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Fenerbahce (6-9) 94-89 on Thursday. Fenerbahce 2 made 28-of-31 free shots (90.3 percent) during the game, while Kahramanmaras only scored nine points from the stripe. 24 personal fouls committed by Kahramanmaras helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard Holland Woods II (184-1998, college: GCU, agency: MSG) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 10 assists (went 15 for 15 at the free throw line !!!). His fellow American import center Brendan Medley-Bacon (213-2000, college: NCCU) helped adding 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Diante Watkins (175-1990, college: RMU, agency: BIG) with 28 points and 7 assists and point guard Burak Gozeneli (190-2000) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fenerbahce have a solid series of three victories in a row. Fenerbahce 2 moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Haremspor. Kahramanmaras at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost.
